THE CHANNEL 103 DOG WALK
A big thank you to everyone who took part in the fourth Channel 103 Dog Walk on Sunday 1st November 2009. Despite the very wet and blustery weather, the event was well attended and supported by many Islanders and their canine friends.
Many thanks to everyone who attended and a big "thank you" to Channel 103 for their help in promoting the event, to the sponsors, the New Era Veterinary hospital and the Allan and Rushton Taylor Veterinary group, and to the JSPCA staff and all of the walkers and their dogs who attended and for their generosity - your support is very much appreciated, for which the JSPCA Animals' Shelter is extremely grateful. £713.35 was raised on the day and this kind and generous show of support will ultimately enable the JSPCA Animals' Shelter to continue its work caring for the injured, stray and unwanted animals on the Island.
