THE CHANNEL 103 GREAT DOG WALK
The third Channel 103 Great Dog Walk was a huge success with approximately 520 people and 210 dogs taking part in this fun event. Dog handlers and family members could refresh themselves with mince pies at the half way station at First Tower, where the dogs were also offered water for their refreshment.
Many thanks to everyone who attended and a big "thank you" to Channel 103 for their help in promoting the event, the JSPCA staff and all of the walkers and their dogs who attended and for their generosity - your support is very much appreciated, for which the JSPCA Animals' Shelter is extremely grateful. Over £1000 was raised on the day and this kind and generous show of support will ultimately enable the JSPCA Animals' Shelter to continue its work caring for the injured, stray and unwanted animals on the Island.
