At the JSPCA Animals� Shelter all cats looking for homes have been micro-chipped, fully vaccinated, neutered and blood tested to establish whether they have been infected with Feline Leukaemia Virus (FeLV) or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).

He is a very active dog who wants to work and needs owners with the time and knowledge to exercise and train him. He is a strong willed dog who is not suitable for living in a household where there are children. He is not very good with small animals and although he is fine with other dogs when out walking, he is looking for a new home where he will be the only dog.
Bertie	Parsons Terrier	tan and white	10 months of age	male	Bertie is a very active friendly young dog. He needs a new home with an enclosed garden. He can live with another dog, but not cats. Bertie is full of character and requires a home with experienced owners who are able to continue his on-going training. He would not be suitable for re-homing to a household with children.
Tilly	JRT	White and brown	22 months of age	female	Tilly is a very active young dog who is looking for a new home with an experienced owner who can give her plenty of exercise, training and socialisation. She requires a home with a securely enclosed garden where she is the only animal. She would not be suitable for re-homing to a household where there are children.
Storm	JRT	White and brown	5 years of age	male	Storm can be a little timid with strangers but one he gets to know you, he is a very friendly boy who loves his cuddles and likes to be the centre of attention. Therefore, he is looking for a new home with no other dogs and no cats. He would not be suitable for re-homing to a household with young children. He is quite an active little dog who loves his walks and he enjoys playing.
Jay-Jo	Collie x Whippet x JRT	black and white	18 months of age	male	Jay-Jo is an energetic fun loving dog who needs a home with owners who can keep up with him and provide him with lots to do! He will need a home with a securely enclosed garden. He would not be suitable for re-homing to a household where there are cats or children, but he would be happy to live with another dog. He cannot be left alone for long periods of time as he can become distressed and destructive. He needs on-going training, including basic recall commands. Jay-Jo will be a fun loving dog for an active owner who has the time to exercise and train him.
Charlie	Border Collie	black and white	14 months of age	male	Charlie is a very nervous collie who is looking for a new home with experienced owners who have the time to get to know him and to gain his trust. Although nervous, he is active and will need both physical and mental exercise and stimulation. He is not suitable for re-homing to a household where there are children. Charlie requires a hoe with a securely enclosed garden and he will require a lot of time and patience, as well as training. He loves other dogs and would be very pleased to be living with one in his new home.

Although very friendly, Bruce can also be very bouncy and boisterous and so would not be suitable for re-homing to a household where there are small children. He cannot live in a household where there are other animals.

He will need a home with someone who has plenty of time to spend with him to train and exercise him. He is very friendly, but boisterous, hence would not suit a home where there are young children. He may be able to live with another dog if it was as big and as playful as him, so as to cope with Ben's boisterous enthusiasm. He cannot be re-homed to a household where there are cats.
