He requires a home with active owners who can provide him with plenty of mental as well as physical stimulation. He is ideally suited to someone who will do dog agility with him and is not suited to a novice dog owner.

He has started clicker training, nose work and agility here at the shelter and is really enjoying this. Bandit will need ongoing training including recall training.

Due to this he boisterous nature Bandit is not suitable to be homed with children and cannot live with cats.

Oreson

PLEASE CAN YOU HELP FIND ME A FOREVER HOME?!?

Lurcher cross collie Black  Male 2 years approx

Oreson is a very friendly, lively dog who easily becomes over excited and when he does so lacks self control. He is undergoing a reward based training program to teach him how to have self control and remain calm, he is progressing well but he will need and experienced owner who can be calm and consistent with him and continue with his training program as he settles in to the home.

He cannot live in a household with children or cats. He is very dog friendly and can live with another dog as long as it is not too boisterous as he panics if dogs jump on him.

Oreson is muzzle trained as part of his ongoing training.

He is a very loving boy and with time, patience and continued training he will make a loyal companion.

Although he looks a lot like a greyhound he has the collie wiring and is a very intelligent boy who needs things to do or is likely to create his own fun. He has a good nose and enjoys a game of go seek.

Can you offer this special boy a home?
