The Animals’ Shelter has only been able to achieve its excellent standards today through the generous donations and legacies from the public of Jersey.  It is only through this generous financial support that the Shelter can continue to develop and improve its facilities, which enable it to care for the injured, stray and unwanted animals on the Island.

Legacies

Legacies help the JSPCA to continue its vital work for many years to come, helping to prevent cruelty, promote knowledge and provide for aged, sick, lost and unwanted animals.

Every year the JSPCA Animals' Shelter cares for dogs and cats whose owners have passed away.  Even if their owner has made a will, making arrangements for their beloved pet often will have been unintentionally overlooked.

The JSPCA Animals' Shelter will care for these animals, look after them, comfort, house and feed them, as well as providing appropriate veterinary care, and we endeavour to find these pets loving new homes.  Regardless of their age, we will always try our very best to find someone to love them.

Your legacy to the JSPCA Animals' Shelter will not only help us to care for your pet if anything ever happens to you, but it will also ensure that we can help other animals who are suddenly, and may be unexpectantly, left alone.
