JSPCA OPEN DAY!
On Sunday 18th November 2006, the JSPCA Animals' Shelter held its annual Open Day at its site on St Saviours Road, St Helier. It was a blustery and wet winter's day, with fortunately many people braving the elements to pop along and visit the Animals' Shelter and all the wonderful animals of a variety of different species that are currently available for re-homing, such as dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets and guinea pigs.
On first entering the Animals' Shelter, visitors walked through the veterinary foster animal clinic and could see the Animals' Shelter operating theatre, where xrays were on display of previous patients at the Clinic. Visitors had the opportunity to browse the JSPCA Animals' Shelter affiliate stalls, the FOTAS stall and, of course, the JSPCA stall. Many visitors, well wrapped up against the cold even tested their nature and wildlife knowledge on the JSPCA Nature Trail.
Many thanks to everyone who visited the Animals' Shelter and to all our stall holders, staff and volunteers for making the day such a success.
