PETS' CEMETERY VANDALISED
The JSPCA Animals’ Cemetery has been targeted by heartless
vandals who have disturbed eight of the headstones. The JSPCA Animals’ Shelter Cemetery Manager was greatly
saddened as he surveyed the devastation which was discovered on Tuesday 7th
March 2006, it is understood that the vandalism occurred on the previous
night. The incident has been reported to the Police and the Animals'

headstones to be re-fixed.
This is the second time this year that vandals have caused damage to headstones in the Pets’ Cemetery on the Inner Road at First Tower, which naturally causes further upset and extra grief for the families of the beloved pets’ graves that were randomly targeted.
The JSPCA understands and respects the special relationship that develops between people and their pets and is undertaking to repair the mindless damage that has been caused. The JSPCA Animals’ Shelter is very saddened by this insensitive behaviour and offers its sincere apologies to the families involved. Repairs are to begin as soon as possible and the JSPCA Animals’ Shelter apologises for any inconvenience this incident has caused for people using graveyard.
