Small Mammals for homing:

(Up-dated 26 January 2012)

Viewing of all animals who require new homes is Monday to Saturday 14.00 to 16.00  at 89 St Saviours Road, St Helier.

Hamsters

JR14831 - This fluffy white adult male is looking for a new home.

Ideally hamsters require a home with a large cage, preferably with lots of different levels for them each to climb and explore.  Russian hamsters must be kept in a secure enclosure, such as the solid plastic types of hamster cages.

Mice

We have 3 young mice of varying colours who are looking for new homes.  Can you help?

Ernie is a brown and white female mouse looking for a new home.

Meanie is a brown and white female mouse, can you offer her a home?

Mo is a brown male mouse looking for a new loving home.

Mice need to be housed in large tanks.  The tanks should be very secure and have a large number of levels to enable inquisitive mice to keep busy, exploring and playing.

Gerbils

There are a group of 2 male gerbils who are 10 weeks old ad they are all looking for new homes either together as a pair.

When re-homing gerbils, they can be re-homed as groups or in pairs.  They need a large tank filled with shavings or sawdust, as they love to burrow and dig, and all of them are very good at being handled.

Rats

We have a group of 4 female rats looking for a new home together or in small groups or as pairs.  Two of these young girls are black and white in colour, one is cream and 1 is hairless.
