Chinchillas

We Currently have no Chinchillas looking for new homes!

Degus

Daphnie, Sassy and Peaches are three Degus in need of a spacious new home together.

Pickles and Beans are a friendly pair of female Degus. They a 1 year of age. Pickles and Beans are looking for a home in a large secure cage made of metal as they are good chewers and can gnaw through plastic or wood

Degus should be housed in large multi-levelled wire cages as they are very active and require plenty of space. Wooden or plastic cages are not appropriate as they will gnaw through these!

Ferrets

We Currently have no Ferrets looking for new homes!

All ferrets re-homed from the JSPCA Animals' Shelter have or will  be neutered and micro-chipped.

Gerbils

Libby is a beautiful 2 year old female gerbil who is beige in colour. She has been at the Animals' Shelter for 14 months can you offer her a home?

Gilly is a shy 10 month old male in need of a home. Can you help him?

(PHOTO TO FOLLOW)

Coco is a 11 month old brown male in need of a home. Can you help him?

When re-homing gerbils, they can be re-homed as groups or in pairs.  They need a large tank filled with shavings or sawdust, as they love to burrow and dig, and all of them are very good at being handled.

Guinea Pigs

Benji and Ash  These are a cheeky pair who love their veggies and rustling around in the hay playing games of tag! Benji is ginger and is looking for a new home with his friend Ash who is grey and white. They are a friendly pair of boys, both aged between 4-5 years. They have always lived as indoor guinea pigs and are therefore not accustom to living in outdoor temperatures.

Rupert is a charming 3 months old looking for a home with some friends. He likes cuddles and to give kisses although sometimes he likes a gentle nibble! He was neutered on the 15th of May and will need to stay on his own for 1 month before mixing with other guinea pigs.

Victoria is lovely 4 year old, female, guinea pig. She is currently living on her own which is very lonely and would love to find another female or a neutered male for company. Victoria can be rehomed with Vimtone if someone would like the pair of Guinea Pigs. She would prefer a home with older children as she is quite nervous. Victoria is very friendly; she just needs time to get to know people. She loves anyone who brings her broccoli! Can you help?

Vimtone is a friendly ginger and white male. He is 2 years old and would love a new home with a female or two for company! He has recently been neutered and will not be able to mix with a female until 24th May. So if you have a lonely lady looking for chap to keep her company he could be the one! He can be re-homed with Victoria if you are looking for two Guinea Pigs. Vimtone is an outgoing guinea who loves his broccoli and other veggies!

Guinea pigs should be housed in large hutches that also offer access to a large, enclosed and secure run area for exercising

Hamsters

Timmy is a friendly male, Russian hamster who has been at the JSPCA looking for a home for 9 months! Could you offer him the forever home he deserves?

Hudini is male Roborovski hamster looking for a place to call home. He is approximately 18 months old and is brown and white in colour.

Ideally hamsters require a home with a large cage, preferably with lots of different levels for them each to climb and explore.  Russian hamsters must be kept in a secure enclosure, such as the solid plastic types of hamster cages.

Mice

Currently we have no Mice looking for a new home! Which is great news.........

Mice need to be housed in large tanks.  The tanks should be very secure and have a large number of levels to enable inquisitive mice to keep busy, exploring and playing.

Rabbits

These lovely rabbits are all desperately looking for new homes!

Coral is a 2 year old female, Lion head rabbit and she is brown with grey markings. She is a gorgeous girl but has had little socialisation and is very nervous. Coral is looking for a quiet new home with owners who have time to spend building her confidence; she would love a home with a male rabbit for company. Carol is not suited to a home with children.

Fiona is a cream and pale brown female, rabbit. She came in to the JSPCA as a stray and therefore we do not know how old she is or anything of her history. Since her arrival she has proved to be a very laid back rabbit who enjoys sitting on your lap and being stroked. Fiona would love to find a new home with a neutered male for company.

Fluffles is a 2 years and 6 months old, female, Lion Head rabbit. Fluffles is a very friendly lady, but as with many rabbits she prefers not to be picked up. She has previously lived as a house rabbit and is fully litter trained.

Star is a young black and white, neutered male, around 1 year old. He is looking for a loving new home with a female rabbit for company.

At the JSPCA Animals’ Shelter all rabbits looking for homes have been micro-chipped, neutered and fully vaccinated

Rats

Posh, Rita, Cheryl and Brooke are four little ladies in need of a loving home. Rita and Cheryl are cream and white in colour and Posh and Brooke are brown and partially hairless. They are very sweet natured sisters and are around 6 weeks of age. They are looking for a home as a group or in pairs

Rats need a home with a large cage with plenty of things for them to do
