SPONSORED TANDEM SKYDIVE IN SUPPORT OF THE JSPCA ANIMALS' SHELTER

On 7^th August 2005, Susan Rousseau undertook a sponsored tandem skydive, landing at the Gunsite Café at Beaumont on St Aubin’s bay.  Ms Rousseau had never done attempted a sky dive before, but decided to get the dramatic event sponsored, with all of the sponsorship money raised from this event being kindly donated to the JSPCA Animals’ Shelter.

On the day of the jump, the weather was good and Ms Rousseau with her tandem jump instructor even performed some twists and turns in the air, enabling many beautiful views of the island to be seen, before lining up with the landing zone on the beach at St Aubin’s bay.

Ms Rousseau commented that she had enjoyed the experience so much that she would even repeat the jump again next year!
