JSPCA Animals' Shelter Spring Fayre and Open day - 15th May 2005
The Annual JSPCA Animals' Shelter Spring Fayre and Open Day was held on Sunday 15th May 2005 at the JSPCA Animals' Shelter in St Helier.
Despite the slightly overcast weather, the event was well attended with many visitors coming along to join in the fun. The Open Day provided the opportunity for members of the public to come and meet the animals looking for new homes at the JSPCA Animals' Shelter, support the JSPCA affiliate stalls, try their luck at a variety of 'fairground' games and even take a tour around the Animals' Shelter site, including visiting the clinic, dedicated exotics unit, cattery and re-homing kennels.
'Molly', the Dalmatian, made a special guest appearance (pictured here with her owner Donna De Gruchy, one of the JSPCA Ambulance Drivers) and invited visitors to guess the number of her spots.
Many thanks to everyone who visited the Shelter and to all our stall holders, staff and volunteers for braving the elements and making the day such a success.
